Here’s a list of many of my entertaining, celebrating, home, & life favorites all in one place!
Kitchen
Maldon Sea Salt Flakes
I LOVE Maldon sea salt. Their sea salt flakes enhance and elevate any dish with just a dash. They are also a great item to finish a dish, making it look that much more polished. I think this is lovely wrapped with a bow for a gift for just about any host. Last summer we used them to create a salty crust on grilled steak — so, so good. The box lasts a long time, but since we grilled a fair amount, we purchased the tub of sea salt flakes and still have it!
Smoked Maldon sea salt is a go-to for me in the fall, which is when I lean into this flavor a little more, but would be good any season. They add a delicate smokey flavor to the dish.
Colorful Hand Towels
I’ve gone to great lengths to incorporate more color into my home the past few years. Caring less about trends and more about my intuition, I love the cheerfulness that color brings and these Furbish Sabrina Tea Towels bring all the happy to my kitchen! Adding color via a cute tea towel is an easy way to do this and with little investment.
Latte Bowls
The latte bowls from Anthropologie are on full rotation in my kitchen — both the regular cereal size and the mini size. They add such fun pops of color stacked behind my glass cabinet doors. With each season or holiday, I transition them based on the the hues I accompany with the time of year.
Bormioli Rocco Essential Decor Glassware
I LOVE these Italian cups. I can be specific about glassware and how it feels in my hand. These glasses are one of my favorites for a chilled glass of rosé or white wine when I don’t want a stem. They are delicate enough, but not so delicate that I worry about breaking them. I also think they are a great option for an outdoor drink when you don’t want to use melamine or a glass stem.
Duralex Tumblers
Duralex glasses are so well made — we use the tall ones for water every day, and the short ones I also use for wine, depending on if I’m in the mood for a sturdier glass, or I feel they fit the tablescape a bit better than the glasses above (or a stemmed glass). These are also a beautiful way to serve a hot beverage like coffee, a latte, tea!
Colorful Silverware
I have two sets of this colorful silverware and they have lasted for over a year now, which surprised me as we ended up using them as our everyday silverware. They are displayed in glass jars on the counter, which make for easy access, and also lend a hand in adding in fun pops of color. Double duty!
Provisions
La Colombe Coffee
While I start every morning with freshly brewed hot coffee (this one is on rotation right now), in the warmer weather months, I find these La Colombe Mocha Lattes to be such a treat. I enjoy sweetened coffee, but not super sweet. These have just enough sweetness, but are no where near syrupy sweet, in my opinion. These are also very convenient when on vacation when we don’t know if we can get quality coffee right away, or can simply take on the go.
La Colombe coffee is typically on rotation in my house, unless I’ve found some (even more) local coffee I really enjoy, or a specific seasonal blend. While I really enjoy Corsica, I started drinking Nizza a few months ago when I wanted to switch to a medium roast and have really enjoyed it each morning.
Olympia Provisions
This Portland-based family owned company makes outstanding charcuterie. They offer many ways to shop online, and I think their Salami of the Month subscription is one of the best! It’s so fun to have a monthly charcuterie delivery to look forward to and try with friends.
Coffee Accoutrements
I love my Nespresso machine! I do go through seasons when I don’t use it for a while, and then use it every day, several times a day. It’s such a treat and when I’m in Nespresso mode, I really look forward to it every morning. What a beautiful way to start the day!
I also really love my Nespresso milk frother. I much prefer my espresso with warmed, frothed milk, and this frother is so consistent — it can warm milk or create frothed cold milk, which is a great touch.
These Nespresso Melozio pods are my “go to”. They are a medium roast and are mellowed nicely by the warmed, frothed milk from the milk frother, and a bit of sugar or simple syrup, which is how I prefer my coffee.
